1. Overview
Twikatane provides an administrative platform for managing platform users, organizations, registrations, and operational workflows. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
2. Information we collect
We may collect the following information when you use the dashboard:
- Account information such as name, email address, username, and role.
- Organization and membership details you create or manage.
- Activity and audit data needed to secure and operate the platform.
- Files you upload for administrative tasks, such as ECZ seed data.
3. How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Authenticate users and enforce access control.
- Manage organizations, registrations, and administrative records.
- Process uploads and keep shared reference data current.
- Monitor, maintain, and improve reliability, security, and support.
4. Mobile app permissions and plugins
The Twikatane Campaign Agent mobile app shows a first-launch permission screen and may request device permissions when a feature needs them. These permissions are used only for app functionality and field operations.
- expo-location: access to location while the app is in use for field workflows and registration support.
- expo-image-picker: access to photos and camera when selecting or capturing media.
- expo-router and expo-splash-screendo not collect personal data; they support navigation, app loading, and onboarding.
Location data is used to support field registration workflows and to associate records with the correct geographic area. Camera and photo access are used only when a user actively captures or uploads media.
5. Location data
- Location access is requested only when required for app functionality and only while the app is in use.
- We do not request background location for the current campaign app workflow.
- We do not sell location data.
6. Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information. Data may be shared with your organization's authorized administrators and service providers only as needed to operate Twikatane, comply with law, or protect the platform. We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the service and meet operational or legal requirements.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no online system is completely secure.
8. Contact
For privacy questions, contact the Twikatane administrators through the standard support channels for your deployment.
